Name: Chedeline
Birthday: 14 months

Chedeline was brought to us by her mother. She is 14 months old and only weighs 9lbs. She stayed with us a few days before we brought her to Milot hospital. She was not eating or drinking and was vomiting and had diarrhea. She is from Gonaive where the hurricanes hit hardest. She was also a triplet, and her brother, sister and father all died in the flooding. Pleas pray for this little girl and her mother. 

Name: Jeniflore
Birthday: 10/08/2007

Jeniflore is the twin sister of Jenny. They are very small for their age. Their mother is very young and unable to continue for them properly at this time. They were sick so we took them straight to the hospital until they are a little healthier again to come back with us. We will care for the girls for a few months so their mother can figure out the best plan of action for them.  They are feisty and have a lot of spunk so we pray they do well. 

Name: Jenny
Birthday: 10/08/2007

Jenny is the twin sister of Jeniflore. They are very small for their age. Their mother is very young and unable to continue for them properly at this time. They were sick so we took them straight to the hospital until they are a little healthier again to come back with us. We will care for the girls for a few months so their mother can figure out the best plan of action for them.  They are feisty and have a lot of spunk so we pray they do well. 

Name: Edison
Birthday: 09/08/2008

Edison came to us in need of a lot of medial help. He was born without a rectum and the local hospital did surgery to create a colostomy.  He will need more surgery to correct his problem long-term.  We also do not have any access to colostomy supplies for his size.  He is very underweight and in need of a lot of prayers. UPDATE: It is with very sad hearts we say that little Edison has passed away. He was too little to fight one more problem. Please pray for all who loved and cared for him. 

Name: Dieula
Birthday: 07/26/2008

Dieula came one afternoon with her father and cousin. She is almost 3 months old and fairly healthy. Her mother died recently and her family have been feeding her tea water since then. We will care for Dieula for a few months so the father can find help in caring for her in his home.

Name: Jovendy 
Birthday: 07/19/2004

Jovendy (Jon as we call him) has cerebral palsy. He was abandoned at a local hospital several years ago. We have been caring for Jon for some time and during this time he has greatly improved in his tone. He still can not sit, hold his head up or talk. He is a sweet boy with a smile for anyone. 

Name: Djoulissa
Birthday: 10/21/2007

Djoulissa is back in our care after being with her mom for a few months. Djoulissa first came to us the beginning of 2008 for two months. She has club feet and needed casting changes weekly that her mom couldn't afford. She has since had surgery and will be starting castings again soon. Please pray for her adjustment back with us. 

Name: Jude
Birthday: 12/12/2007

Jude came to us with his mother. She is unable to care for him and his 3 siblings. He is so sick we brought him straight to the hospital for some extra medical attention. Please pray he turns the corner quickly. He is 9 months old and weighs 7lbs. 

Name: Richenaider
Birthday: 14 months old

Reese's family are unable to care for him.  We are praying that he grows and thrives with us. Please pray for his health.  

Name: Dacheka
Birthday: 09/12/2007

Dacheka is the cousin of Dieulanda. She is also very tiny and sick. Her grandmother thought it would be easier if we could help with both girls for now. Please pray for this little girl and her family. UPDATE: Dacheka has gone home with her family. Please pray for a smooth transition. We will miss her.

Florcie's mother died shortly after she was born. Her father brought her to us to care as she is so tiny. He also has a 5 y.o and 4 y.o at home he is caring for. Please pray for this father and little girl.

Christy is a sweet sweet little girl who loves to cuddle and is so fun. She loves helping with the littler babies and playing with her friends

Name: Alix
Birthday: 2 years old

Alix is a fun loving little guy who likes to act goofy, but is also very cuddly. He is currently taking medications for a blood condition he has. He also loves to help give the other kids their medications. 

Name: Jean Renel
Birthday: 09/13/2007

Jean Renel came to us with his grandmother and father. His mother has run off and left him in the care of his grandmother. She is also caring for 8 other children and just not able to keep up with his infant needs. They would like to take him home in 3 months. He does not suck from a bottle well so please pray he picks up. 

Name: Richard
Birthday: 01/13/2008

Richard came to us with his grandmother. She is caring for 8 other children (including 2 of Richard's siblings) and just cant care for Richard as well. His mother ran off some months ago and no one knows where she is. Please pray for Richard as he adjusts to life at COTP and is able to gain strength and energy. 

Name: Sasia
Birthday: 04/29/08

Sasia is two months old and weighs 5lbs. She is a beautiful new addition to our home. Her great-grandmother brought her to us as her mother is unable to care for her at the moment. They have been having a hard time feeding her and need some extra help while she is so little. They hope to bring her home in 3 months. 

Name: Saphira
Birthday: 07/28/2008

Saphira came to us with her father. Her mother is unstable to care for her at this time. He feels it is too unsafe for Saphira until her mother gets better. He would like us to care for her these next 3 months and then take her back home. Please pray for this sweet little girl. 

Name: Calile
Birthday: 4/18/208

Calile's mother died shortly after he was born. His father is not involved. His uncle came to us asking for help. Please pray little Calile stays healthy and continues to grow. 

Name: Joshua
Birthday: Approx. 18-24 months

Joshua was also abandoned just outside of Justinean hospital. No one knows much of anything about him. He has CP as well and is very underweight. However, he drinks from a bottle just great so we hope he will gain weight soon. Please pray his health improves.

Sonly is the twin brother to Jhonly (who passed away shortly in our care). They came to our facility with their mother. The twins are in rough shape and need lots of extra care and attention. Please pray they are able to gain weight quickly.

Johnson is staying with us for a time being. He is very underweight and in need of extra love and care. Please pray for Johnson and his mother during this time away. She has another baby at home to care for and it was just difficult to also care for Johnson

Caleb was brought to us by his mother and father. They both love him dearly and are caring for him the best they can but with his CP its becoming more difficult and they know that his life in Haiti will not be ideal. Please pray he adjusts well in our care.
