Name: Daycen
Birthday: 01/19/2009
Name: Mackendy
Birthday: 05/08/2009
Daycen was brought to us by his father and a neighbor. His mother left him and his 3 siblings about 2 weeks ago. His father lives and works in Port au Prince and came back to Cap-Haitian to take care of the kids. He is going to look for their mother and try to make a decision for Daycen. Please pray they are able to make the right decision for him and that Daycen adjusts well in our care.  We have welcomed another little one into our care. His name is Mackendy and he weighs 10lbs 8oz. Mackendy's father is worried about his mother and does not feel she can care for him right now. He is hoping his mother will get better in the next few months and they can take Mackendy back home. Please pray for his mother as well as for Mackendy to stay healthy.

Name: Clodin
Birthday: Approx. 6 months old
Name: Anel
Birthday: 07/24/2008
Clodin is the twin brother of Clodeson and the brother of Mikenson. He is very malnourished, but doing well. His mother is unable to care for the three boys. Please pray a plan is put in place soon and that the boys continue to thrive.   Baby Anel had been living with his mother as his parents were not living together. His father had no idea how Anel was doing. Anel's mother died mid-May and last Saturday the mother's family brought Anel to his dad. His father brought him to the local hospital right away, but they told him to bring Anel to us. Anel weighs 7 pounds 5.2 ounces. Since his parents were not living together, his father does not know what he was fed or why his mother died.  Anel has been drinking small amounts and keeping his formula down.   Please pray he adjusts well to life here and that he gains weight quickly. His father will be back to discuss his future in 3 months..

Rose Naika came to us with her grandfather, grandfathers uncle and some cousins. Her mother has passed away and they can not care for her being so little. She has an older sister they are also caring for. She is 1 month old and weighs just over 5lbs. Please pray she stays healthy and grows quickly.  Clodeson is the twin brother of Clodin and the brother of Mikenson. He is very malnourished, but doing well. His mother is unable to care for the three boys. Please pray a plan is put in place soon and that the boys continue to thrive.

Name: Albert
Birthday: 01/18/2009

Name: Rivaldo
Birthday: 11/19/2008

Albert came from Milot hospital after being abandoned in a building for 3 days. A boy heard him crying and couldn't find him so stopped someone on the road to help. They were able to find his mother, but she is unable to care for him and his 6 siblings. He is doing well and is a true miracle. Rivaldo is the little brother to a little one we have in our formula program. Their mother asked for help for both children, but she has since brought her daughter to her mothers to be cared for and she is doing very well there. Little Rivaldo was just born on the side of the road. He seems to be doing well and we will care for him until his mother can make some decisions. So far he is a healthy newborn.

Name: Djoulissa
Birthday: 10/21/2007
Name: Maranatha
Birthday: 03/21/2009
Djoulissa is back in our care after being with her mom for a few months. Djoulissa first came to us the beginning of 2008 for two months. She has club feet and needed casting changes weekly that her mom couldn't afford. She has since had surgery and will be starting castings again soon. Please pray for her adjustment back with us.  Maranatha was brought to us by her father. Her mother had been sick while she was pregnant and shortly after giving birth she passed away. She was born in a town far away from us, but her father is from CAP. After her mother died, he brought her to Cap-Haitian with him. He also has a 3.5 year old son and is not able to care for Maranatha at this time. She weighs 4lbs 12oz. Please pray she gains weight quickly. Her father plans to take her home in 3 months if he can find some help.
